Executive Coaching

Executive Coaching

Executive Coaching is an interactive process designed to assist executives in learning more about how their management style, strengths, weaknesses and key personality traits affect their performance. Effective coaching methodology must always include practical business knowledge and a focus on meeting both the objectives of the organization and the individual.

Deliverables from the coaching process include:

  1. Administration and interpretation of assessment materials that assist in clarifying and understanding management and communication strengths and weaknesses. We generally include a 360 feedback instrument that is administered both before and after the coaching engagement in order to assist individuals in identifying style and personality issues and determining how those issues impact effectiveness.
  2. Determining goals and developing action plans to modify behaviors based on information identified through assessments as well as in-depth conversation.
  3. Observing effectiveness and behavioral change through on-going interactions to ensure positive and long-term results.

Developmental Coaching

As a developmental process, coaching enhances the abilities of individual top performers as they move through the organization.

  1. Developmental Coaching maximizes a key performer’s talent and contribution to the organization by providing proactive career and professional development.
  2. We assist individuals in identifying style and personality issues and determining how those issues impact their effectiveness. We also help identify what behaviors should be emphasized and what behaviors are potential derailers.
  3. In this process we determine goals and create action plans to strengthen positive behaviors and identify developmental plans based on information identified through assessments and in-depth conversation.
  4. Through observing and reinforcing behavioral change we help ensure positive long-term results.

Interventional Coaching

As an intervention process, coaching can prevent a potential high performer from derailing and causing significant disruption and loss to the organization.

  1. Interventional coaching begins with a meeting with the individual’s leader to confirm needs.
  2. The coach, the individual and the leader meet together to establish goals and objectives of coaching program.
  3. We then administer and interpret assessments materials.
  4. Coach and individual begin in-depth coaching regularly on a weekly or biweekly basis. During this time we analyze data, identify style and personality issues, determine how those issues promote or detract from the individual’s effectiveness, and create a plan to address goals and objectives.
  5. Periodic meetings are held with the individual’s direct leader to ensure that progress is being made.
